- This series consists of two guest books or registers documenting visitors and guests of the Regents. Earliest entries include a calligraphy document, photograph of the official procession on the occasion of the dedication of the State Education Building, 1912, and names of guests attending convocations of the University of the State of New York. The second volume documents individuals and small groups of visitors to the Regents on miscellaneous occasions as well as to convocations.

- The series consists of tuition records and associated files concerning financial aid to Native American post-secondary students. The bulk of the records are student listings that typically show student name, reservation, home address, school, date of birth (sometimes), percentage of aid used, and grant amounts (by semester). Also include are administrative financial records of the Native American Unit, including budgets, state fund encumbrances, and financial program requests. Records are restricted.

The files contain police investigation reports, related correspondence and intra-agency communications, index cards summarizing known affiliations or previous investigations of individuals or groups, and background material pertinent to each case.
