(The original bonds are lost.) Offices include, but are not limited to, registers and clerks of the Court of Chancery, Indigenous agents and superintendents (by reservation), superintendents of the Onondaga Salt Springs Reservation, commissioners of military stores, paymasters general (military), state prison agents and clerks, commissioners of state roads and bridges, state lottery managers, Senate and Assembly clerks, and agents of "foreign" (i.e. out-of-state) insurance companies. - The State General Municipal Law requires the chief fiscal officer of every municipal corporation to make an annual report of its financial condition to the State Comptroller. The annual reports consist of computer generated forms prepared by the Comptroller's Office and sent to the corporations for completion and return. Reports typically include a description of assets, appropriations, liabilities, and fund equities; a statement of indebtedness; a list of bond issues; and a certification statement signed by the corporation's chief financial officer.

- Following passage of the Emergency Conservation Work Act in 1933, the federal government recruited and trained unemployed men ages seventeen to twenty-eight to develop forest lands and parks. In New York, the program commonly and later officially known as the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) focused on recreation, fishery, forestry, and pest control projects. The series consists of correspondence, reports, work plans, general orders, work applications, and personnel files related to New York's CCC camps.

These case files often include graphic testimony about teacher performance, classroom situations, and education administration (particularly teacher supervision and efforts to identify and remove incompetent teachers). Transcripts provide information about workplace relations and working conditions, and on "social" labor relations in an adversarial context.
