- This series consists of two daily registers of correspondence received by the State Board of Health and one volume that serves as a partial name index to the registers. Registers list name, title (of medical professionals), and place of residence or location of business of persons from whom correspondence was received each day. Registers list the same categories of information regarding letters that were filed on a given day. Occasional notes appear in the margins indicating number of notices sent to druggists, presidents of villages, supervisors of towns, or local boards of health on a given day.
