- This series consists of 1980 and 1990 United States Census of Population and Housing counts for New York State. It includes Summary Tape Files (STF), Public Use Microdata Samples (PUMS), and special tabulations. STF records contain population and housing tabulations for geographic areas such as blocks, tracts, counties, and states. PUMS files contain records representing a 5% and 1% sample of the entire population.

- This series is a statistical compendium of the New York State census of 1925 administered by the Secretary of State. - This series consists of portfolios of typewritten tabulations "prepared by Cities Census Committee, Inc. to facilitate tabulation of the enumeration of the City of New York, 1925," under the administration of the Secretary of State. Each portfolio contains columns of figures of population arranged by election district and sanitary district for the boroughs of Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn. The binder for Manhattan is empty; the binder for Staten Island is not included.

- This series consists of a recapitulation of statistics of population for various age groups from each page of the original 1915 state census schedules, with summaries for each election district or city ward and totals for each political subdivision (town or ward). Counties are arranged in alphabetical order. The following counties are not represented in the series: Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond, and Westchester. The following counties are only presented in fragments: Erie (Buffalo), Monroe (Rochester), and Oneida (Utica).

- This series consists of surveys and apparently unpublished studies conducted under W.P.A. sponsorship. These studies are on many subjects, but tend to focus on real estate values, land use, and population in communities in New York. Examples include police arrest survey; social and economic survey of Indian reservations; real property survey (several cities); report on Albany transients and homeless; professional and service projects; 1850 census index for Buffalo; and Erie County street names.

- This volume contains the 1845 population schedules for all the Indian reservations in New York (except the reservations on Long Island). Census schedules are present for the following reservations or groups: Oneida, Onondaga, Tuscarora, Buffalo [Creek], Seneca of Cattaraugus, Cayuga of Cattaraugus, Seneca of Allegany, Tonawanda, and St. Regis [Mohawk]. Data collected is similar to the general population census but does not include voting, citizenship, or militia service.

The schedules give the name of the head of the family and the number of electors in various categories: freeholders of property worth 100 pounds or more; freeholders of property worth from 20 to 100 pounds; and non-freeholders renting tenements of annual value of 40 shillings.
