Summary
- This series consists of a recapitulation of statistics of population for various age groups from each page of the original 1915 state census schedules, with summaries for each election district or city ward and totals for each political subdivision (town or ward). Counties are arranged in alphabetical order. The following counties are not represented in the series: Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond, and Westchester. The following counties are only presented in fragments: Erie (Buffalo), Monroe (Rochester), and Oneida (Utica).

Administrative History
The State Census of 1915 was taken pursuant to Article III, Section 4 of the Constitution of 1894, and Chapter 155 of the Laws of 1915. The compilation of the state census was administered through the Secretary of State's office.
Scope and Content Note
This series consists of a recapitulation of statistics of population for various age groups from each page of the original census schedules, with summaries for each election district or city ward and totals for each political subdivision (town or ward).
