- This series consists of ledger accounts for appropriations received from the state. Cash Accounts have entries for state appropriations and prison sales on the debit side and entries to the credit of the prison, with monthly totals and running balances. Also included are separate accounts for Legislative appropriations such as prison enlargement, a new shoe shop, heating apparatus, exploration for iron on state lands, and books for the prison library. The accounts contain detailed entries for labor and supplies and give name of contractor, date of payment, and amount paid.

- This series consists of record cards which summarize the background and prison disciplinary record of inmates of Clinton Correctional Facility (known earlier as Clinton Prison). Most cards include a front-facing and profile photograph of the inmate. Inmate numbers extend from 12879 (inmate received in 1914) to 39999 (inmate received in 1964), with gaps. These records were maintained pursuant to a law of 1929 requiring a daily record to be kept of punishments inflicted on prisoners and of complaints by prisoners.
