- This series consists of photographs depicting the excavation and beginning construction of the present State Capitol in Albany, New York. Many of the images in accretion B0701-03 are duplicates of photographs contained in B0701-85, but some later photographs show partially completed first and second floor levels of the Capitol. The series also contains images taken by photographer Thomas Fuller and a landscape plan by Frederick Law Olmsted of the East Park (1898).

- These aerial photographs of State University of New York (SUNY) college and university campuses provided the Project Control and Initiation Unit with visual information necessary for capital plans and surveying. Taken at approximately five year intervals between 1962-1981, the photos are of individual campuses and the SUNY Central Administration Building in Albany. In addition, a series of aperture cards depicting construction drawings and schematics of the buildings and grounds is available for the majority of school sites.

The market values generated are transferred to the Property Valuation Bureau for use in developing equalization rates, and to municipalities for tax roll purposes. These records consist of equalization appraisals of taxable real property owned by corporations submitted to the Division of Equalization and Assessment to regulate tax assessment and assist local governments in administering the real property tax.
