Maps begin at the northwest corner of Connecticut and end through Long Island Sound at the western boundary of Rhode Island. - This series consists of one photocopy of a tracing of a survey map and field notes made by surveyor Ebenezer Worster (or Wooster) in 1749. Map shows boundaries and names of land owners, lot numbers, and rivers. Field notes record survey delineations. The tracing was made by or for the State Conservation Department in 1919 from an original map then in private hands.

Of special interest are the large-scale maps which show exact boundaries of legislative districts of urbanized areas in New York City.

Also included are surveys of land patents and maps depicting lots and patents subject to quit rents.
