Volume 1 shows cash received on account for "paying pupils." Entries include date; name; number; amount; monthly totals and cash received from fruit, livestock, scrap metal, and used items sold. Volume 2, which shows amounts received and disbursed for board and clothing expenses of students, is arranged by student name. Records are restricted.

- Under the Elmira system, each incarcerated individual's release was determined by good behavior and the accumulation of marks for school achievement, labor productivity, and adherence to institutional rules. This series consists of volumes recording the "credits" and "debits" used in this marking system. Each page contains the record of a single incarcerated male and each person's record was maintained until they were paroled or had served their maximum sentence.

- This series consists of a single accounting ledger in which the State Treasurer recorded the state's daily financial receipts and expenditures. Given the date span of the series, many of the recorded transactions document Revolutionary War activities of the new state government and its citizens. Virtually every type of expenditure involved in supporting the state's war effort is noted in the ledger.
