- This series consists of the annual reports of Injunction Masters on the accounts of all court appointed guardians, committees, and receivers in their circuits. These reports were originally filled with the Chancellor and appropriate Vice Chancellor pursuant to court rule 156. The reports are in narrative form and contain the following information for each account: whether it was kept correctly; whether there was any waste or inappropriate use of the funds; and whether funds were properly invested and secured.

The Canal Investigating Commission investigated work already done on enlarging and improving the aforementioned canals; examined contracts for the work and whether or not they were properly made; and determined whether the amount of money already expended on the work was properly expended and if additional money was needed to finish the work.

The law appointed two printers to print all laws presently in force and all which would be passed by the present session. The accounts give the printer's name; for whom printing was done; dates work done; cost of work; printer's certification of accuracy of account; and notary's certification.

- This account book contains tables, a summary recapitulation, and a report relating to the investigation of James H. Ward. Ward served as agent of Dr. James H. Hart, health commissioner of the port of New York, from 1838 to 1840. He was responsible for the collection and accounting of monies to be paid to the Marine Hospital for quarantine of passengers from foreign countries who landed at the port of New York. Ward was ultimately indicted and tried for embezzling money that was owed to the hospital.
