- This series consists of daily information on inmates receiving medical treatment at Clinton Prison. In addition to regular medical needs, Clinton served as the facility for all inmates suffering from tuberculosis. Information includes descriptions of the general inmate population; number of inmates applying for treatment, treated and not treated; number of men excused; number of days lost; and information about the tuberculosis population (number admitted, and names and number discharged) and hospital (number admitted, and names and number discharged).

- This series consists of two volumes created by the Auburn Prison physician for the purpose of documenting deaths of Auburn Prison inmates, as required by Chapter 382 of the Laws of 1889. Volume 1 (1888-1937) documents the deaths of approximately 500 inmates. Volume 2 (1896-1920) documents the disposition of the bodies of the prisoners.

- This series consists of inmate medical and psychiatric reports used to determine the physical and mental condition of inmates serving indeterminate sentences. Clinical staff also conducted scientific studies and psychiatric evaluations in an effort to determine causes of criminal behavior and make recommendations for treatment, training, and employment of inmates. Records may include inmate admission blotter; hospital history; social history summary report; admission classification; progress notes; classification cards; pre-parole report; and records from other prisons in which inmate was incarcerated. After second volume, the physical description is omitted. With the fourth volume, inmate's prison employment is included.

It appears this is a register of the tuberculosis hospital ward that cared for inmates transferred from other New York prisons.

The series also contains a file of monthly psychologist's reports detailing the number of tests and counseling sessions given.
