The bulk of this series consists of color and black and white positive and negative photographs depicting various scenic areas, buildings, activities, and historic sites and landmarks taken throughout New York State. The photographs were created and maintained as a reference source to answer questions about possible locations in New York State that could be used in motion pictures, television shows, or advertisements.

Files include investigation reports, contracts, correspondence, news clippings, video or audio cassettes, manuscripts, magazines, escrow account documents, statements, victims' judgments, proposed and final determinations and orders, hearing transcripts, motions, briefs, affidavits, memorandums, and notices of petition.
