The records document the purpose/objectives of the program, suggested community designations and legislative structure, as well as marketing and outreach functions.

This series consists of photographs, architectural drawings and elevations, and occasionally, narrative descriptions of historic structures which are to be razed. The Bureau of Historic Preservation Field Services is responsible for ensuring that owners of structures that are on, or are eligible to be on, the State or Federal Registers of Historic Places document those structures prior to their demolition. These files are probably the best graphic documentation of the designated structures just prior to demolition.
