- This series contains the original, signed and engrossed acts passed by the State Legislature beginning in the year 1778. Each law contains the text of the bill, the signatures of the speaker of the Assembly, president of the Senate , and the governor with date signed. On the reverse of the final page is an endorsement, giving the chapter number, a short title, and signature of the secretary of state with certification that the bill became a law on the specified date.

- This series consists of two guest books or registers documenting visitors and guests of the Regents. Earliest entries include a calligraphy document, photograph of the official procession on the occasion of the dedication of the State Education Building, 1912, and names of guests attending convocations of the University of the State of New York. The second volume documents individuals and small groups of visitors to the Regents on miscellaneous occasions as well as to convocations.

- This is a carbon typescript of the Commission of Immigration's report to the governor, which was later published. Legislation of 1908 empowered the governor to appoint a nine-member Commission of Immigration to investigate the "condition, welfare, and industrial opportunities of aliens" in New York State. The report discusses these issues, and includes various legislative measures recommended by eight members of the commission.

- This series consists of lists of private and taxable state lands in Forest Preserve counties on which 1912 property taxes remained unpaid, and for which either the property description or the assessed tax were rejected as improper. Each entry provides the name of the tract or patent, lot number, description of the parcel on which taxes were owed, acreage, assessed valuation, amount of tax due, and 5 percent fee. The reasons for rejection are stated in the margin.
