This series consists of photographic prints and negatives used to illustrate an article titled "Small Conoidal Shells of Uncertain Affinities," written by State Paleontologist Dr. Donald W. Fisher. The article deals with fossil tentaculitids and other fossil creatures found throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Antarctica. The article appears in the "Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology, Part W," which was compiled in the late 1970s but remained the standard reference work in the field for 20 years.
