The Health Planning Commission was an interdepartmental health policy coordinating council created by executive order in 1967 to comply with the U.S. Public Health Service Act, PL 89-749. This series contains correspondence, reports, studies, and minutes reflecting implementation of the National Health Planning and Resources Development Act of 1974 (PL 93-641) and coordination of New York State health planning.
