- This series contains planning and promotional documents for the grand opening celebration of the New York State Museum (July 1-4, 1976) at its new location at the Cultural Education Center in the Empire State Plaza, Albany, New York. Included are Museum Opening Committee agendas and meeting minutes, press releases, transcripts of speeches, invitations and programs, posters, pamphlets, and other promotional materials, plans for various events, exhibit planning notes, and black and white photographic prints.

- The series consists of architectural and mechanical drawings of the State Education Department building located on Washington Avenue in Albany, New York. The original drawings were made by the architectural firm of Palmer and Hornbostel on February 10, 1908, but were revised up until approximately March 11, 1911. The drawings include elevations; floor plans; heating, ventilating, and electrical wiring diagrams; and plumbing system and fixture drawings.

Each receipt gives name of school, signature of principal, and date of receipt by the department.
