- The Conservation Commission was authorized to purchase forest lands in state parks. This series consists of correspondence from the Commissioner of the Conservation Commission to the Commissioners of the Land Office relating to proposals for the purchase of forestlands for state parks. Most correspondence is concerned with the acquisition of land for the Adirondack and Catskill Forest Preserves. Some maps, vouchers, and survey notes are included.

- This series consists of transcripts of trial testimony related to mismanagement and malfeasance of Munson G. Lockwood and other officers of Sing Sing State Prison. The testimony contains detailed information on the business and financial affairs of the Prison during Lockwood's controversial term as agent. As a result of his and other state prison agents' mismanagement and malfeasance major revisions in the laws governing the management of state prisons occurred. Included is an index linking witnesses to transcript statements.

- The "Record of Laws" is a transcription of the laws of New York for the years 1777-1802, bound pursuant to the Laws of 1819. Each chapter transcription includes a signed statement by the Secretary of State or his deputy certifying that the copy has been compared with the original and that corrections were made. The first volume contains the record of laws for the legislative session of 1777, not found in the Enrolled Acts of the Legislature (Series 13036), which commence in 1778.

- This series consists of poll books containing names of eligible electors within each company in a regiment. Information includes name of the absent elector, residence, and command to which he is attached.
