Scope and Content Note
This series consists of various administrative documents used by Craig Colony officials. The records include a map and general plan of the grounds, catalog and price list of articles manufactured by state prisoners, journal articles on epilepsy, correspondence about the facility's sewage disposal with illustrative diagrams, listing of food rations, cooking class schedules, and an analysis of payroll for April 1900. There are numerous blank forms for administrative use, including blank application and admissions forms with directions for filling them out, and blank daily and weekly supervisor's report forms. Records also include graduate examination questions and scores for the Craig Colony Training School for Nurses.

These records were originally acquired by the Minnesota Historical Society. They were subsequently transferred to the New York State Archives in 1981.
