Scope and Content Note
This series consists of archival copies of the publicly accessible websites of the State Education Department's Office of Operations and Management Services.
B2175-07: This accretion consists of a copy of the Office of Operations and Management Services site produced on March 16, 2007, after Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It contains information about the fiscal management, human resources, information technology, and legislative coordination services that the office provides to the department. The Fiscal Services section of the site consists of budget summaries and proposals (2005-2007), a program description handbook (2005), monthly fiscal reports (1998-2003), forms for grants finance, and a Medicaid/Billing Handbook (2005).
This copy also includes instructions for using the System to Track and Account for Children (2007), Procurement Lobbying Law Policy Guidelines (2006), analyses of school district finances (1999-2005), and school district fiscal profiles (2000-2005). Also present are articles and reports that cover various aspects of school finance: local effort, demographic patterns, and measurement of outcomes (1999-2006). There is also information about employment opportunities in the department (2007), Board of Regents priority legislative proposals (2002-2007), and audit reports prepared by the Office of Audit Services (1997-2006).
Researchers should note that only the top page of the Rate Setting Unit section of the site was captured. In addition, the menu links on the left of each page redirect to the live Office of Operations and Management Services site. The same is true of all links within the System to Track and Account for Children (STAC) section of the archived site.

It contains information about the fiscal management, human resources, information technology, and legislative coordination services that the office provides to the department. The Fiscal Services section of the site consists of budget summaries and proposals (2008), a program description handbook (2008), forms for grants finance, a Medicaid/Billing Handbook (2007).
