Summary
- This series contains accounts and bookkeeping records of the Fire Marshal. It includes salaries and expenses, moneys received for the storage of dynamite, boiler inspections, and abstracts of "sundry accounts" payable under appropriation bills. Also included are unsorted documents pertaining to finances, a memorandum book of supplies showing date ordered and received, a telephone service contract, and a copy of a financial report of appropriations and expenditures for the fiscal year ending October 1, 1913.

Scope and Content Note
The series consists of various account and bookkeeping records of the Fire Marshal. Included are statements of salaries and expenses (1911-1914), moneys received for storage of dynamite (1912-1915) and boiler inspections (1912-1915), and abstracts of "sundry accounts" payable under appropriation bills (Chapter 451 of the Laws of 1912).
There is also a small amount of unsorted documents including statements of account (1913-1915), cancelled checks (1912-1915), debit slips (1913-1914), and magazine accounts held by the Fire Marshal. Also included is a memorandum book of supplies, showing date ordered or received (1912-1914); a contract for telephone service (1911-1914); and a copy of a typescript financial report of appropriations and expenditures for the fiscal year ending October 1, 1913.
