These files contain: informational memos; background material and general correspondence regarding GOER programs; correspondence and policy memos from the Executive Chamber; state policy memos and correspondence; and Director and Executive Director day books.
16243-94: Major subjects addressed by records in this accretion are: contract negotiations and factfinding with all major bargaining units, including issues such as attendance and leave, wage comparability, and day care (ca. 1969-1977); civil service reform (ca. 1975-1990); the Committee on Women in Government (CWIG), including board meeting minutes and materials related to issues such as barriers to advancement, minority training, non-traditional jobs, and increasing access to state government (ca. 1976-1981); and day care services (Empire State Day Care) and child care policy and guidelines (ca. 1980-1991).
