This series consists of photostat and microfilm reproductions of transcripts of New York Council minutes (executive and legislative sessions) and Assembly proceedings from 1686-1775. The transcripts were evidently prepared by the Secretary of the Province of New York or his deputy, and were transmitted to the Board of Trade in London.

This series consists of positive and negative photo static copies of various records now in the custody of the State Archives, which maintains the copies for study and exhibit planning purposes. Reproduced documents include the Flushing Remonstrance, various constitutions, and other highly historically significant or intrinsically valuable records.

The series consists of maps of all the counties in New York, outside of New York City, annotated to show proposed and approved federal-aid secondary highways as of 1945. There are two maps present for each county: one indicates state and county highways that were not considered part of the federal-aid highway system; the other shows the state and county highways that were designated as part of the system.

This series consists of photostatic copies of records pertaining to Indian affairs in Colonial New York that are in the custody of the National Archives of Canada. Many of the reproductions were published in The Papers of Sir William Johnson but a sizeable number of them remain unpublished.
