This series consists of village/hamlet planimetric atlases. The atlases provide large-scale coverage (one inch represents 800 feet) of smaller New York State communities not covered by the related series of urban area maps (Record Series B1806). Each atlas includes maps of villages and hamlets for a single county or for a region encompassing two or more counties. Map features include: roads, route identification, railroads, airfields, civil boundaries, community names, and water features.

Summary
This series consists of maps of wildlife habitats in urban areas throughout the state. The series includes 107 Mylar overlays entitled "Urban Wildlife Habitat Inventory Overlay Maps," and 24 "Urban Area Enlargement" print maps (paper). Habitat areas are demarcated on the Mylar overlays by alphanumeric codes; no legend appears to explain these codes. The print maps cover the counties of Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, and Westchester. These maps are apparently the base maps with which some of the overlays may be used.
