The Wadsworth Center of the Department of Health combines basic and applied research and education in biomedical and environmental sciences with a public health mission of clinical and environmental testing and quality assurance. This series consists of articles published in scientific journals by Wadsworth Center scientists relating to their research at the center's facilities. The series also includes pre-publication editorial memoranda related to scientific content, choice of journal, and adherence to procedures when experiments are conducted on humans or animals.
