Also included are statistical abstracts of inspection returns, which give numbers of officers and enlisted men present and absent, as well as the quality of arms and accoutrements, cannon and equipment, implements for loading and firing, and ammunition inspected and approved or found unfit for service.

Reports on paupers receiving state aid include names of institutions visited; number of paupers admitted with state funding, discharged or died; and financial savings due to discharges. The alien paupers reports include pauper's name; age; time in U.S.; marital status; residence of relatives; physical and mental condition; and prospects for self-sufficiency.
