- The Adirondack Park Agency (APA) is responsible for insuring that all building in the Park is compatible with the natural character of the land, and has a minimum adverse affect on the environment. The Operations Division, now the Regulatory Programs Division, is responsible for the review of all projects undertaken in the Adirondack Park that fall within the APA's jurisdiction and for coordinating and administering all permit related activity associated with the review of the projects.
