Series also contains individual files for cases that received significant public attention. Most cases involve the compensation of crime victims from monies derived by criminals from books or movies portraying their crimes. Files include court testimony; lawyer, claimants, and CVB correspondence; and news clippings. Also included are administrative records related to the board's operations.
