- To help to conserve resources for the war effort, the Office of War Training implemented a program aimed at educating truck and bus drivers through trucking company managers. This series contains correspondence, pamphlets, and instructors' manuals documenting the Office's administration of this program to improve truck and bus driver safety and the conservation of resources. Also included are syllabi, including tests, and promotional flyers.

- This series consists of a copy of the New York State Department of Transportation Permits site produced on December 22, 2006, shortly before Governor George E. Pataki (1995-2006) left office. It documents the department's history and mission, as well as the organizational structure of the department's Central Permit Office.
