This series contains invoices for funds expended by the state for supplies and labor used for the construction or maintenance of state highways. Each form contains the town and county, law under which funds were appropriated, date, name of supplier, a listing of the goods or services purchased, funds expended, the road that was serviced, and a contract number. Most invoices display a stamp stating that the expenditure was audited by the Commissioner of Transportation.
