Summary
- Records in this series include data sheets, coding sheets, abstracts of patient records, and reports. Included are records relating to the Baxstrom patient research study and the pre-Baxstrom research study in the 1970s, which examined individuals transferred from hospitals of the criminally insane under the Department of Correctional Services to the civil mental hospitals in the Department of Mental Hygiene.

- This series consists of statistical reports documenting activities of the Clinton Prison Classification Clinic. Reports give the numbers of: classified inmates, unclassified inmates, inmates interviewed for purposes other than classification or parole, inmates interviewed by psychiatrist for preparation for parole, inmates under observation, inmates transferred to state hospital on account of insanity, inmates placed in observation during month on account of peculiar conduct, inmates transferred to Napanoch and to Albion, and of reports done for parole, clemency, and selective service.
