This series is a statistical compendium of the New York State census of 1925 administered by the Secretary of State. It consists of tables of population by counties; election districts; towns, wards and blocks cities; villages; Indian Reservations, and percentage of inhabitants of counties reported as Aliens. Each table gives the number of citizens, aliens, and total population for the area enumerated.

This volume contains the 1845 population schedules for all the Indian reservations in New York (except the reservations on Long Island). Census schedules are present for the following reservations or groups: Oneida, Onondaga, Tuscarora, Buffalo [Creek], Seneca of Cattaraugus, Cayuga of Cattaraugus, Seneca of Allegany, Tonawanda, and St. Regis [Mohawk]. Data collected is similar to the general population census but does not include voting, citizenship, or militia service.

This series consists of a statistical report of state census by county clerks from returns of census marshals. Summary information for each town or city ward includes number of persons by sex, age, marital status, state or country of birth and education; number of aliens, paupers, colored persons, taxed and not taxed and military eligibility; data on acreage, crops, livestock; types of manufacturing establishments and religious establishments; and ages and circumstances of the "deaf and dumb," blind, "idiots," and "lunatics".

This series consists of a statistical abstract of returns of census marshals to the county clerks, submitted by the clerks to the Secretary of State. Information for each town or ward includes number of: males, females, eligible for military duty, able to vote, aliens, paupers, colored persons, marital status vs age, marriages and births occurring, agricultural and manufacturing data, factories, "deaf and dumb," blind, "idiots," and "lunatics". There are no summary tables for the entire state.
