Summary
This series consists of architectural renderings (pencil, watercolor, or photostat of the original drawing) of buildings proposed to be constructed for state teachers colleges, agricultural and technical institutes, and the Geneva Agricultural Experiment Station. Some of the buildings were constructed, while others were not.

Summary
The Temporary State Commission on the Capital City was created for the purpose of cooperating with local officials and groups in developing recommendations for a realistic and fiscally sound program for the rehabilitation of the City of Albany. The series consists of commission staff files that document its various activities. Records include architects' proposals, consultant contracts, South Mall progress reports, reports to the State Legislature, meeting minutes, public hearings, and newspaper clippings. Also included are several dozen photographs and slides.

Summary
This series consists of oversize and rolled architectural, sanitary, engineering, and plot plans of the Cultural Center in Albany's "South Mall." Included are floor and ceiling plans, details, elevations, and section drawings. Planning for the Cultural Education Center began about 1963 and the building was first occupied in 1976.

Inventory of the furnishings in state buildings and offices in Albany

Summary
The Bureau of Public Buildings allotted rooms to state agencies and officials, saw that the rooms were furnished, and took measures to preserve the furniture and other property in those offices. This series consists of a carbon transcript inventory listing: building; floor; name or room number or agency name; and quantity of each type of furniture, equipment, and machinery in each room. Durable goods such as desks, chairs, bookcases, typewriters, fire extinguishers, wastebaskets, and rugs were inventoried.
