This series consists of correspondence and forms compiled by Protestant Chaplains at other prisons while conducting interviews to determine religious affiliation for inmates who ultimately resided at Dannemora State Hospital. Many files contain a full-face photograph of the inmate as well as biographical information similar to the intake registers. The forms also include observational notes on the inmate's current behavior, prognosis and possible actions to be taken. Some files give more detail on religious beliefs. Records are restricted.
