This series consists of administrative and operational records that document the division's activities to identify coastal areas threatened by erosion and to assist local communities in planning efforts to prevent and/or arrest the destruction of their coastlines. The series contains correspondence, meeting files, press releases and news clippings, and recommendations and reports of the Coastal Erosion Task Force (1990-1994). Also included are program files related to the coastal region between Fire Island Inlet and Montauk Point (Accretion 19603-10).
