This series consists of fragmentary burned schedules of the Census of Electors taken in 1814. The schedules give the name of the head of the family, the number of electors in various property classes (see descriptions of Census of Electors, 1801), the number of free white males and females under age 18, age 18 - 45, and over 45, and the number of free blacks and slaves.

Chapter 329 of the Laws of 1854 appropriated $2,250,000 in state funds to provide for the enlargement of the Erie, Oswego, Cayuga, and Seneca Canals; the completion of the Black River and Genesee Valley Canals; and the enlargement of the locks of the Champlain Canal. This series consists of one volume of abstracts of contract proposals pertaining to the enlargement of the Erie Canal and one volume pertaining to the enlargement of the locks of the Champlain Canal.

This series consists of the research and correspondence files of New York University Senior Research Scientist Dr. Joseph P. Viteritti, who served as Executive Director of Temporary State Commission on Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Compensation. The commission was created in 1987 and charged with evaluating compensation levels of the state's high-ranking public officials and recommending adjustments to rectify disparities and account for inflation. Records include statistical comparison studies, reports from other states and the federal government, and transcripts and testimony from public hearings.
