Summary
To help to conserve resources for the war effort, the Office of War Training implemented a program aimed at educating truck and bus drivers through trucking company managers. This series contains correspondence, pamphlets, and instructors' manuals documenting the Office's administration of this program to improve truck and bus driver safety and the conservation of resources. Also included are syllabi, including tests, and promotional flyers.

To help conserve resources for the war effort, the War Council required all school bus drivers to be certified in the safe and efficient operation of buses. The Education Department was assigned to this task, while the Office of War Training administered the program.
