- This series consists of records relating to the Civil War service of Company H of the 65th Regiment New York State Volunteers. Included is a description book providing physical descriptions and enlistment data, and a clothing book documenting distribution date(s) and money value of clothing distributed to the men of Company H. Few members of the company are listed and most entries are incomplete. Also include is a summary account of clothing issues to the various companies of the regiment, and a quartermaster list for stores received from United States. Records are restricted due to fragility.

- This series consists of the Clinton Prison physician's log of daily, monthly, and yearly totals of information on the Clinton inmate population. Information includes inmate count; number discharged, died, transferred or received, applied for medical treatment, treated, not treated, excused, and days excused; and names of inmates who attempted escape, escaped or recaptured; died; transferred or were received from other prisons. Also included is a log of meals served and average cost per meal.

Summary
- This series consists of the original engrossed (or final) letters patent and military patents, which were transcribed pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Laws of 1786. That law states that these volumes were "by various accidents so injured that a frequent Recourse to them may render them illegible." The transcriptions were inserted into the books of Letters Patent (Series 12943) and Military Patents (Series A0447). In addition to recorded patents, the first two volumes also contain records of confirmations of deeds dating prior to the English conquest of New Netherland in 1664, commissions and appointments of civil and military officers, naturalizations and denizations of non-British subjects, and a few Indian deeds.

- These volumes were created by the comptroller's office to record information related to quit rents on patents granted by the colony, including payments of arrears, quit rent sales, redemptions, and conveyances. Information is grouped by patent. Each patent has a separate heading that gives register number; docket number; name of patentees; county; total number of acres granted; date granted; quit rent rate per hundred acres per annum; when payment was last made; and a description of the property location.

Summary
- In 1850, the state legislature transferred the function of selling and conveying land for unpaid taxes to the county treasurers. The comptroller continued to receive copies of lists of unpaid non-resident taxes and of lands redeemed and finally conveyed. In 1855, the legislature restored the former system of sale of non-resident lands by the comptroller. The records in this series were created during the brief periods in the 1850s and 1890s when the county treasurers, rather than the state comptroller, conducted non-resident tax sales.
