Summary
Legislation passed in 1864 appointed a board mandated "to receive proof, ascertain and determine what regiments of the uniformed militia or National Guard have lost, worn out or destroyed their uniforms in the service of the United States." These minutes record the board's resolutions, procedures adopted as to the filing of claims, descriptions of claims submitted by regiments, abstracts of claims audited and allowed, abstracts of claims audited and allowed to clothing manufacturers for uniforms, and descriptions of board expenses.

This series consists of entries made by the officer responsible for the clothing room of Ward 8 at Matteawan State Hospital. The entries describe what supplies are on hand, names of inmates transferred from Ward 8, and maintenance actions taken in the clothing room. Records are restricted.

This series consists of six bound volumes describing clothing issued to and received by inmates at Matteawan State Hospital. In addition, volume six contains an overall inventory of an unknown ward detailing unused clothing and clothing ordered. The content varies between volumes, but generally provides information on what clothing was issued to an inmate, his/her name, number, date of admission, private clothing owned by the inmate, and ward number to which inmate was transferred.

Summary
This series consists almost entirely of duplicate correspondence and special orders dating between May and August 1861. In addition, there are a few items dating from 1862 and one document dating from 1866. These are mainly copies of bills, vouchers and ordnance inventories. The correspondence in this series deals almost exclusively with the organization and supply of volunteer units raised by the state in response to President Lincoln's call for men in 1861.

American Super-Power Corporation license application maps and drawings

Summary
The American Super-Power Corporation submitted these exhibit maps and drawings to the Water Power Commission as part of a license application for a St. Lawrence River water power project. Action on this application was suspended in 1927 and superseded in 1930 by the creation of the St. Lawrence River Power Development Commission. Records include general maps, development maps, profile of the St. Lawrence River, views of power house, maps of proposed transmission lines, and land ownership maps.
