The series consists of tuition records and associated files concerning financial aid to Native American post-secondary students. The bulk of the records are student listings that typically show student name, reservation, home address, school, date of birth (sometimes), percentage of aid used, and grant amounts (by semester). Also include are administrative financial records of the Native American Unit, including budgets, state fund encumbrances, and financial program requests. Records are restricted.

Access Restrictions
Restricted under the Freedom of Information Law (personal privacy) and FERPA. The restrictions of non-directory student information under FERPA last for 100 years unless a student or parent has signed and filed a waiver allowing disclosure of the record.
Box 6 contains pre-redaction original documents containing restricted personal information (see Processing Statement below). Redacted photocopies have been substituted in place of the restricted originals (and annotated as such).
