Also included is a list of inmates received and discharged; a census of inmates and infants and a count of inmates receiving dental and medical attention. The release file contains two record types: the receiving blotter (I-2 record) for all annual releases; and the accompanying release transaction record (I-11 record) which documents the circumstances of the release.

- The series consists of scattered items from unidentified, unrelated files of the clinic at Westfield State Farm. Included are an inventory of the dental clinic (March 1958); memoranda concerning three security matters: visitation of an inmate, loose drugs found in the laboratory, and theft from the operating room (July 1958); and informational booklets on communicable diseases and infections in hospitals (1960).

- This series documents the disciplinary movement of incarcerated individuals into and out of the institution's guardhouse where they were confined in isolation. Entries include consecutive number, surname of the incarcerated individual, date received in guard house, name of receiving officer, date released from guard house, and name of physician for daily visit. In some instances, remarks such as "sent to hospital" or reduced "to 3rd grade," (loss of privileges and temporary ineligibility for parole) are recorded.

- This series consists primarily of correspondence, memoranda, reports, and clippings from the files of Albion's warden relating to the administration of the institution. Much of the material consists of memoranda about new legislation, policies and procedures affecting Albion. Subjects include hiring, dismissal, job performance, training, and explanation of new policies and procedures. Also included are daily lists of inmates transferred to Bedford Hills when Albion was closed in 1971.
