- This series consists of meeting minutes in the form of hearing transcripts from a committee investigating the problem of runaways at the Agricultural and Industrial School. Testimony included personality traits of good supervisors; methods of discipline and preventing runaways; punishing runaways; frequency of home visits; past and present conditions at the school; reasons for inmates running away; criteria for assigning inmates to colonies; and possibility of regular meetings of cottage supervisors to exchange ideas on treatment and discipline of inmates.

- This series contains lists of male inmates committed from each county except for New York, Kings, and Richmond. Registers provide date admitted, name and occasionally a notation if recommitted. Also included is a typescript county list of inmates paroled from the New York State Training School at Warwick whose supervision was transferred to the State Agricultural and Industrial School but who were never actually in the institution. Records are restricted.

- The superintendent's duties included establishing and enforcing time schedules for employees. This series contains mostly attendance and work schedule information of officers in the State Agricultural and Industrial School. The daily attendance records for each month and vacation leave records list name and position. Other information may include if on vacation, resigned or dismissed; time off and changes in daily work schedules.

- These photographs depict the New York State Agricultural and Industrial School's new facility at Industry, New York. The photographs, mostly mounted, provide views of: annual fairs; farm land; grounds; interiors of buildings; inmates, school officers and visitors; and physical facilities. A few of these photographs were published in the school's annual reports for the early 1900s.
