Philip M. Kaiser served as Chairman of the Inter-departmental Committee on Problems of the Aging, which was established by Governor W. Averell Harriman in March 1955 to advise on problems and developments affecting the aging and to assist in the formulation of recommendations for executive and legislative action. This series consists of letters received, with a few enclosures, copies of letters sent, and memoranda relating to problems of the aging.
