This series constitutes a sample of the Closed Case Reports and Reviews completed by State Education Department personnel when vocational rehabilitation cases were closed. Forms provide summary data about services provided, results achieved, and costs to the Department in each case. Sampling was completed by the State Archives and is intended to include all files from each year ending in 0 or 5, but for some sample years all or some of the files are missing.

The minutes include exhibits in the form of correspondence; proposals for studies and projects; and report drafts, critiques, and revisions. The plan and drafts of the committee's final report list its activities; information exchanged; advice provided; and studies, reviews, and plans undertaken. The appendices include an estimate of the prevalence and rehabilitation needs of disabled persons; state services statistics; and a directory of training programs.
