Included are half-tones of colonial and revolutionary era buildings; organization charts of the colonial and state court system and county government; Revolutionary era county boundaries maps; floor plans of the Onondaga County Court House; and maps showing town, village, and city boundaries in Allegany, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Lewis, Monroe, Montgomery, Oneida, and St. Lawrence counties.

- This series consists of administrative and research files maintained by the Schenectady County office of the Federal Writers' Project and used to prepare publications about Schenectady County. Most records are notes and essays by field workers and extracts of local records. Also included are reports, photographs and administrative correspondence of the Schenectady County Supervisor.

- This series contains copies of cards (WPA form 22 HR) compiled for the American Imprints Inventory, a project under the Historical Records Survey. The cards give basic cataloging data on books and pamphlets printed in the United States before 1877. They were compiled by field workers who surveyed most public and private institutional libraries in New York State. The original cards were sent to the National Editor of the American Imprints Inventory, where checklists of imprints were planned and prepared.

- This series documents basic information for historical markers erected throughout the state; for markers that were never erected; and for markers that were later destroyed. The cards are pre-printed with typewritten or handwritten information added. Each card contains information about the location of the marker, its inscription, when it was approved by the Office of State History staff, the date it was installed, and maintenance information. This is likely a partial inventory containing only those markers of which staff was made aware.
