Summary
This series consists of surveys and appraisals of state-owned salt lands in preparation for the sale of those lands in the town of Geddes and the city of Syracuse. For each tract or lot information includes survey description providing metes and bounds and total acreage; appraised value of land and value of buildings, fences, and other improvements; and for the 1851 appraisals, brief evaluative statements concerning the land by each of the prospective purchasers, typically current lessees.

Summary
The series consists of maps, assessments, and certifications prepared for draining swampland near the village of Liverpool. Land Office commissioners were responsible for appraising marsh lots leased to the salt manufacturers in the town of Salina. Appraisals include probable expenses and benefits of draining the lands. Tract map shows farm, pasture, and marsh lot boundaries, and route of road and drain line. Newspaper clipping has notice of assessment and comptrollers statement provides information on sale of lots in the swamp.

Land descriptions and appraisal reports contain detailed descriptions and measurements of lands and names of adjoining property owners.

Documents relating to acquisition of land from William Seward Webb and the Ne-Ha-Sa-Ne Park Association

Summary
Land belonging to William Seward Webb and the Ne-Ha-Sa-Ne Park Association was damaged after a dam across Beaver River formed a reservoir, which flooded. Reimbursement was granted. Shortly thereafter, the Commissioners of the Board of Fisheries, Game and Forest purchased the land. This series consists of bonds, deeds, land contracts, Certificates of Search, and Abstracts of Title recording the purchase of the damaged land in the town of Wilmurt, Herkimer County for the Adirondack Park.
