- This series consists of statement reports relating to using of a percentage of property tax assessments to finance money highway repairs. The reports are primarily on printed forms. Some forms are accompanied by comptroller's correspondence and board of supervisor's correspondence, etc. For some counties (very limited) there are maps of highways delineated. Administrative History
Laws of 1902, Ch. 156, and Laws of 1904, Ch. 183, were concerned with giving localities the option of changing from the labor to the money system of highway repair, and of using property tax assessments (according to prescribed formulas) of the locales to finance the money highway system.
