Scope and Content Note
This series consists of records documenting the changes to rules for the development and intent of the Department of Environmental Conservation's rules and regulations, including normal, emergency, and consensus rulemaking. Records in this series include public drafts of proposed and revised rules; all supplementary documentation required by the State Administrative Procedures Act (SAPA); coastal assessment forms; State Environmental Quality Review (SEQRA) documents, written public comments, public correspondence, and hearing records including transcripts and recordings; and any scientific or statistical study, report, or analysis and supporting data used as the basis of a proposed rule or aid in interpreting the regulation.
B2813-21: The records in this accretion include rulemaking packages relating to the transport and disposal of medical waste, as regulated by 6 NYCRR, part 360 and 364, dated 1988-1991; 2018 amendments to the agency's SEQRA (6 NYCRR Part 617) regulations; and a partial set of records concerning the 2012 amendments to the SEQRA regulations.
B2813-23: This accretion includes environmental impact statements, public hearings records, and environmental notice bulletins regarding the proposed revisions of 6 NYCRR Part 360, Solid Waste Management Facilities General Requirements.
