Administrative History
The Berkshire Farm Institute for Training and Research was a nonprofit organization formed in 1962. The institute focused on researching the causes, prevention, and treatment of juvenile delinquency. It also served as an intensive training program for students, professionals, and other personnel studying and/or working in the fields of delinquency, child welfare, and mental health.
