Summary
- This series consists of correspondence, reports, memoranda, bulletins, press releases, meeting minutes, and payroll records relating to the Education Department's cooperation with the State War Council. Many of these records are transmittals and copies of reports of cooperative efforts by the state agencies represented in the State War Council's Division of Industry, Agriculture and Labor. Other files in the series relate to the Evacuation Committee and Vocation Training for War Industries program.

Scope and Content Note
This series consists of correspondence, reports, memoranda, bulletins, press releases, meeting minutes, and payroll records relating to the Education Department's cooperation with the State War Council (see Agency History).
Many of these records are transmittals and copies of reports of cooperative efforts by the state agencies represented in the State War Council's Division of Industry, Agriculture and Labor. These reports were sent to Deputy Commissioner Lewis A. Wilson in his capacity as Chairman of the Division. Other files in the series relate to Dr. Wilson's membership on State War Council committees such as the Evacuation Committee, and to his representation of the Vocation Training for War Industries program in the Division.
